Why should we take care of our bodies?  After all many of us have been on the yo-yo diet merry-go-round.  Others of us have had to cope with physical illnesses that have kept us from being as healthy as we want.  Still others of us are growing old quicker than we would like, and food is so delicious and comforting.  It’s much easier to give up.

If you are struggling with one or more of these issues, start taking care of yourself to glorify God, not yourself.  Look to God for help in prayer.  Spend more time on your prayer life and less on eating.  When you do eat, make healthy decisions.  Start moving, even if it is slow.  Take steps every day to improve your health.
