Happy Thursday! Do ever feel like you are doing everything you are supposed to do, but you have a target on your back? I’m talking about the type of target that somehow says to others “here I am the reason for everything wrong with your life – let me have it”. I feel that way sometimes. I’m reminded of all the people in the Bible who were persecuted, and Ephesians 4:31-32. “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead be kind to each other, tender hearted, and forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
It’s important to take the high road. Whether you see it or not, it will be noticed by the person aiming their frustration at you and others. Then, forgive them, even if this happens repeatedly. You never know what is behind their rage. It could be depression, sickness, anxiety or something else. So, after you forgive them, pray for them. God bless you on your forgiveness journey.
