A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.     –  Provebs 15:1

Happy Tuesday!  Are you ready to try Something New?  There are a couple of things I am going to try today.  First, after a bad flare, I am feeling better today – well even.  I want to walk and need to prepare for an upcoming trip to New York.  Rather than over doing by trying to walk miles.  This time I’m going to try to increase my steps by 1500 a day this week, and I’m going to do that by periodic walking throughout  the day.  In another words, I’m going to walk 5-7 minutes a couple of times a day at a slow pace.  This is hard for me.  When I feel well, I just want to conquer the world.  Second, I’ve been a little on edge lately and found myself being harsh in how I react to others.  So, I’m plan to take three deep breaths before reacting and then respond in a gentle but firm manner.  Take minute and share what you plan to try!

I want to remind everyone of the two opportunities to win a $10 Amazon gift card.  On my home page at http://www.hisperfecttiming.blog, go under the menu heading Lifestyle.  The two opportunities are: What’s in My Bag; and Morning Routine.  To enter send me an email at Kay.dennis@hisperfecttiming.blog.  In the subject line write the the name of the category and include photos, notes and videos.  You can enter both as many times as you like.   I will post what you send me and there will be a drawing.  I hope everyone will take advantage of the opportunity to have a little fun and win!  While you are on the home page, take a look around.

So join me today in trying something new!  God bless you.

  1. Something new I’m trying is a new hairstyle and I love it. I’m not sure why, but the last 2 years I get easily heated and perspire a lot. I went through menopause when I was 42, so I don’t know what is going on.

So, I’ve been wearing headbands to keep my hair off the nape of my neck because I get so hot just sweeping the floor! Lol Well, I didn’t like the look of it very much. I tried putting my hair up in a cute little bun on top, but without bangs, it didn’t look good. Last week I cut myself some bangs and now I love my hair up and even my daughter and granddaughter like it. My granddaughter said it looked great. Oh, I am so happy to have a simple fix for my hot-hair problem. Lol
