Wow! It’s a beautiful day and spring is in the air! I can hardly believe it’s already spring again. The flowers here are beautiful! I hope you will get outside and enjoy the day.
Today, is my daughter’s birthday. We are looking forward to a family celebration today. It will be nice to have the sounds of family in the house. A friend of our family lost her teenage daughter a couple of weeks ago. The young girl died in a car accident. She had graduated from high school and received her AA at the same time last year. She was beautiful, smart, and loved by the community. I saw my friend yesterday. It was the first time she had been out since her daughter’s passing. My heart breaks for her. I can’t imagine per pain. Although it is sometimes awkward and we often do not know what to say or do, we should always provide comfort to those who are mourning. If you have a lost a loved one. Turn to God for comfort. While people can and should try to provid comfort, God is the supreme comforter. So, today, join me in being thankful for family and comforting to those who are mourning.
