Tell Me Something Good Monday – Have Faith, It May Take Time

Have you ever prayed for something and felt like your prayers weren't answered? I was studying my Bible and I realized God doesn't answer all prayers immediately. In the story of . . .

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was God.  — John 1:1

Happy Monday!  It’s time to share something good.  Have you ever prayed for something and felt like your prayers weren’t answered?  I was studying my Bible and I realized God doesn’t answer all prayers immediately.  In the story of Lazarus, Martha and Mary sent a message to Jesus that their brother was dying.  Jesus was at least a couple of days away and probably received the message about the time of Lazarus’s death.  We know that Jesus delayed his arrival to Bethany by a couple of days, going to Judea.  Yet when Jesus arrived, Lazarus was raised from the dead after  four days.  Also in Matthew 15 Jesus did not immediately heal the Syrophoenician Woman’s daughter who was possessed by demons.  Just because your prayers are not answered immediately in no way means you must accept defeat. Having faith means that we must look beyond the immediate circumstances to God’s promises.

So join me today in keeping the faith and believing in God’s help in our lives!  God bless you!
