God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.  2 Timothy 1:7

I’m a little late checking in today, but you can use your gifts to Change the world every day!

Yesterday was a little challenging for me.  I arrived at work to discover I had lost a friend, and add to that, I think I was the only person who didn’t know.  I found out quite accidentally that I would be attending a funeral.  I really wanted to be angry, but there was no one to blame but me.  God was with me all day, though.  I went to a civic meeting and received an unexpected award.  I went to the funeral and saw a special friend who had been very sick.  Later in the afternoon I received a package in the mail that I had forgotten about ordering.  It was a beautiful angel wing ring.  Then, last night before I attended a much dreaded business meeting, my sweet husband sent me a special text.  The meeting turned out much better than expected.  I was very tired last night and this morning, but I survived.  I tell you all of this to let you know that when we build a close relationship with God, we are never alone.  Despite the thoughts of missing a dear friend, God filled my day with bits of joy.

Never miss an opportunity to tell the ones you love how you feel about them for none of us are guaranteed tomorrow, and always remember that God is there for you, too.  God bless you!

  1. So sorry for your loss. You are so correct, when you have a relationship with God he will take care of you and make that way for you. With all that was happening with you, it all turned out okay with things that lifted your spirits. God Bless you and again, so sorry for your loss.
