Spread the Love Friday – Good Friday

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more.  There will no longer be any mourning, crying or pain for the old order of things have passed away.  Revelations 21:4

It’s Good Friday already.  On this day every year and throughout the year, I feel mindful of the pain and suffering that Christ must have felt.  Of course, I can’t actually understand how horrible it must have been, but I always try to consider it.  He not only felt the physical pain and suffering inflicted before his death, but he also felt the humiliation and loneliness, as those who just days before welcomed in celebration throwing their cloaks and palm branches on the ground before him as he humbly road in on a donkey were now screaming “crucify him!”  Then, what I think must have been the worst pain was carrying all the sins of the world from the beginning of time, so that the only sin that you and I cannot be forgiven for, when we ask, is disbelief.

Although it is a day of reflection, don’t be sad.  His great sacrifices provide hope.  Easter will soon be here.  God bless you.

      1. I hope you make that visit to England, I am sure you would love it. I used to go up to London every week go around the Museums and Galleries, have Lunch, some shopping and then the long journey home by train at the end of a long day to Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. Unfortunately, have not been for some time now. Had arranged San Francisco last year, but my Doctor decided I was not well enough to travel so it all had to be cancelled, hoping next year to make San Francisco.

  1. Good Luck, hope you enjoy it and have fun. I visited New York, many years ago, well far too many years ago, I was 22 years. Stayed with Mother’s Cousin in New Jersey, she took us into New York, I must be the first person to see New York and never see the Statue of Liberty. Mother’s Cousin was a very “difficult” woman to say the least – disaster.
