Try Something New Tuesday – Take a Deep Breath and Remain Calm

Happy Tuesday!  Sometimes Tuesday can be a day of stress.  It’s the beginning of the week.  Bills are due but it’s several days before payday.  Deadlines are looming.  The children have homework, ball games, concerts and a host events to attend and you are the driver, personal assistant and coach.  Housework is piling up.  While it’s not Monday, . . . It’s still tough!

Trust me when I say I’ve been there and Tuesday hits me hard sometimes too.  The best thing to do is to take a deep breath, take a mental step back and respond (DMR).  Don’t react!  My boss is an absolute pro at this.  I have a tendency to completely freak out, recover and tell everyone I’m sorry.  Sometimes sorry isn’t enough to make everything okay.  I’m definitely a work in progress, but I am improving.  I find that planning for tomorrow, living in the present and trusting God with the rest helps.  Worrying is the absolute worst thing to do.  You can’t worry and trust God!  Also, remember that life goes by fast.  Try not to rush through life, meeting deadlines.  Enjoy the moments.
