Have you ever been a victim of betrayal? Most of us have at one point or another. Have you ever been betrayed so many times that you don’t even think about calming down, because you aren’t surprised? That happened to me recently. I didn’t know whether to be glad that I didn’t react in anger, or concerned that I expected no less than betrayal from the people I trusted. So the question becomes, in a dog-eat-dog world, how do I live by higher Christian standards? . . .
