He has been with me everywhere I have gone.  Genesis 35:3

Happy Monday!  I will share that we are recovering from our sickness and we successfully kitty-proofed two rooms yesterday.  Plus my wonderful husband put our kitten’s cat tree together.  It’s taller than me!  Isn’t that great!  We have much more to do this week, but I feel we made great progress.  I hope you will share something good from your life.

Sometimes the beginning of the work week can be overwhelming.  The phone is ringing.  People are coming in for assistance.  Other departments are calling with requests.  People are asking questions that have never been answered before.  One or more of your coworkers didn’t show up, which increases your work load.  All the while you have your list of things that you must accomplish before you go home.  That’s just your job.  Your mind is also thinking of taking the children to music, band, dance, and ball practice after work. Then, you must hurry home to cook dinner, manage baths and homework , exercise and clean house.  Your heart is racing and your body feels the stress.

Have no fear.  This happens to everyone.  First Peter 5:7 tells us to “cast all our desires on him because he cares for us.”  In other words, take a step back.  Take a deep breath and thank God for being there for you.  He is always there.  Life is so much better with God by our side.  Trust God to help you and leave your worries behind.

Join me today in turning over all stress and worries to our sweet Lord.  God bless you.

  1. A great reminder to hand them over. Our problem though is grabbing them back, lol. But then again He know this and is patient and forgiving when we finally leave them at His alter.

  2. I really appreciated this post today. Also listened to the song which was completely complimentary! Most Mondays have me a bit anxious as I travail at a job that I am thankful for but not in love with. This was a nice way to come into my center and Just Breath! Thanks for sharing!🤗

  3. Good evening and thanks for reading and putting a “like” in my blog. I did’t know that Evangelicals were interested in Cannabis. For any particular ailment or disease?
Praise the Lord for he/she/sie shows us the only true path in life!

    1. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Although the state of Florida has approved it for medicinal purposes, there is still an issue with federal requirements. Lol. You made me laugh a little tonight.

      1. Please allow me to correct you. The federal government does not interfere any longer in the use of Cannabis and especially the CBD component for medicinal purposes. I too live and practice in Florida where the winds are changing to the benefit of patients. I’m glad I made you laugh. Buona notte!
