Forgiveness Thursday – Delight in Suffering to Stay Strong

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.  2 Corinthians 12:10

Happy Thursday.  This week has flown by for me.  I fell asleep at 5:30 last night just exhausted from all the trials and tribulations.  I do feel good that I can rest in the Lord knowing that my weaknesses have resulted in trials and persecutions that I have endured despite the temporary suffering, which in turn has made me stronger than I even realize.  I look around, not with judgement, but with empathy at some of the people who have come in and out of my life.  I’m talking about good people, who have made bad decisions that have left them in a tangled web of deception.

Do you feel like you are tangled up of in a web that is defeating you?  Are you living a life where you are on top by hurting and manipulating others?  Do you feel like your life is spinning out of control and you cannot stop it?  Do you pay lip service to God when you need something, but fail to truly worship him?  Well, today you can start over with God by your side.  Today is the day where you can put the past behind you and ask for forgiveness, while forgiving others in your life.  The sad thing about not moving forward and continuing the way you are going is you are hurting more than yourself.  One day we all stand before God in judgement.  Be the one who turns your life around and helps others!

God bless you!

  1. Amen! I sorta wrote about this too today. I spoke about the division we have as the body.

It’s crazy to look at our life and see those who have walked in and walked out. To see the ones that God told us, “It’s okay to shake off the dust. You don’t have to let your pearls be trampled.” At least, it’s happened in my life.

Thanks for sharing <3 God be with you wherever you go today!
