Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:33
It’s Spread the Love Friday! What will you do? The smallest acts of kindness have a rippling effect and change the world!
Do you ever feel like others look down on you because you are young? Do you think your age limits your ability? I remember being young and feeling like everyone thought I was stupid and didn’t know anything. I had the energy and determination that I could have accomplished so much more had someone put a little faith in me and guided my path. I’m so thankful God placed people in my life that helped me to become a Christian leader. Last spring I was on a panel in New York City that assisted graduate students with their interview skills and resumes. All of the students were young and very intelligent. In fact, I was blown away. One thing we can do to make a difference in the world is encourage young people to use their intelligence, while growing in their Christian faith. If you are in your twenties or thirties, you can help teens and tweens in the same manner. We actually strengthen our skills when we mentor others. The best part is we are raising up a new generation of Christian leaders. Isn’t that great!
So today, spread the love by mentoring others in Christ’s name. God bless you.
