For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.
‭‭2 CORINTHIANS‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Good morning.  I’m celebrating the completion of a class today.  Woohoo!  We are all on different journeys, but we can’t forget to celebrate the milestones along the way.

At times it can be difficult to see the end of a struggle.  I have a friend who is going through a divorce.  Every day she calls me crying.  It’s so sad to hear the struggle.  I can’t count the number of times or length of times she has told me she has prayed.  Her heart has been hardened and she has not forgiven her husband.  While it might be difficult and take time, forgiveness is important to receiving answered prayers.  It is also important to have faith.  That’s why I chose 2 Corinthians 5:7 for our verse to learn.  We have all experienced hopelessness and despair.  After making a petition to God, thank Him for the outcome and have faith. You don’t need to beg God for endless hours.  He hears you. Just praise him and believe.  It’s easy to have faith after you see the results.  Christian faith is believing before you see.

Today, start practicing your faith and take a few moments to learn this easy verse.  God bless you.

All of the memory verses can be found in the ScriptureTyper app under the group Hisperfecttiming.

  1. Amen! Trust God even in the midst of tears…He’s right there with you, bottles every tear, lay you head and heart upon His shoulder, when I am weak-in Christ, I am strong. To God be the glory for you post…so many hearts are being touched. Bless you!

  2. Something I have come to réalisé is when you forgive others, you are helping yourself as well. I hope your friend is able to find forgiveness in her heart as it will help her on the road to self healing.

    1. You are exactly right. I do too. It took me a long time to understand the full picture related to forgiveness. Life is easier when you get to that place. Thank you for stopping by. Stay blessed.
