Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men
Good Morning. It’s Holy Week, which for me is a thoughtful and penitent time. It’s not so much about the Easter Bunny, dying eggs or buying new clothes. It’s a time to think about how great Christ’s sacrifices were for all us. He took on the sins of the past, present and future generations. I can hardly imagine the burden. I encourage you to take part in the Holy Week activities at a church near you. It will change your life.
If you belong or attend a church regularly, are you welcoming to guests? Do you introduce yourself, invite the people in and ask them to join you? What if they are dressed differently? What if their behavior drives you crazy? Whenever I think of Christ, I know that he would reach out to anyone, regardless of their situation. Sometimes it may seem difficult, but we mustn’t get absorbed in our cliques and how we want to be seen.
I encourage you to humble yourself and reach out to others. You may be the only person who has an opportunity to share the love of Christ with someone else. Let him shine through you today and every day! God bless you!
