Spread the Love Friday – Be a Revolutionary for Christ

The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Happy Friday!  Spread God’s love everywhere you go.

Have you ever been teased for being a Christian?  Have you ever felt that you had to stifle your beliefs or that you were be considered a “goody two shoes”? Have you ever been left out or ostracized for your beliefs?  Well, you are not alone.  Christians are revolutionaries for Christ.  As such, we are called names, teased and ostracized.  It’s not easy and it sometimes hurts.  We need to rely on Christ to work through us, especially in our weakest moments.  Do we have to give up things or avoid going certain places?  Yes, but what we gain is much greater.  I have found so much happiness in being a Christian and doing God’s work.

If you are discouraged because you aren’t accepted.  Think of all the good you are doing when you let Christ work through you. God bless you.

  1. Yes, this is beautiful. I was called names, endured lowered grades, trased, ostracized for my beliefs in Jesus Christ and support of him through my college career. (Science professors don’t like their evolution religion threatened.) But Jesus died for me and so I am honored to endure any little trial for Him. He is worth it. Thank you for this post. Beautiful!😄❤

    1. Thank you Tonya. I appreciate what you are saying. When things get bad, I remind myself that I must be doing something right. Keep up the good work!

  2. I guess I just got lucky. The instant I rededicated my life to Jesus, virtually all of my friends and family simply vanished. All that’s left are people who are just as weird, crazy, and blood-bought as my wife and I. Life in our house is so much fun! 🤣 I do occasionally miss the people who walked away, but then I recall all that we’ve been blessed with, and all I can do is pray for them. They don’t know what they’re missing. 😊
