“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV
It’s Try Something New Tuesday and fall is in the air. I love this time of year. It’s a great time to wear God’s love!
So, you might wonder how to wear the love of God. It’s simple. Everywhere you go love the people around you. Give them support and cheer them on to excellence. Be there to help whenever you can without expecting anything in return. Love those you don’t really like, and do it because you love God. Make good decisions, but don’t judge. Show respect for those in authority, and know that God put them there. Often there are details you may not know prompting their decisions. Spend your time trying to brighten the day of those around you, and be willing to give more than you take. Wake up in the morning determined to spread God’s love everywhere you go. When in doubt look to the Holy Scriptures for further guidance.
Have a wonderful Tuesday. God bless you.
