Have you ever noticed how hard it is to get up on Sunday? I usually can’t sleep Saturday night. The enemy pulls out every trick to keep me from going to church. The last two weeks I was sick, so I made up my mind that I was going and my sweet husband gave me some encouragement too. I’m so glad, because I just wanted to roll back over this morning . . .
Do you ever feel like your life is spinning out of control? Do you feel so stressed that your heart is racing? . . . We rush around everyday and never slow down long enough to enjoy the beauty around us. The colors were so pure and vibrant. There was a gentle breeze and fragrance of flowers in the air. We never feed the birds, but our yard sounds like a bird sanctuary. I watched this one little bird. . .
Of all the people in our lives, the people who can cause the most pain and who we can hurt the most, are our family members. It’s the type of hurt that can sometimes be hard to forget. Even if you cannot forget, make it a priority to forgive and ask for forgiveness. We only have our family members for a short time . . .

Sometimes we find that out of the bad comes something good, and out of darkness, light. For instance, I’ve been sick, so my husband I are trying a new eating plan to replace bad stomach bacteria with good. Another example is I heard from my cousin who lives in Seattle last night. It’s the first time I have spoken to him in years. I’m excited that he will be visiting us this week, but his visit is due to a funeral. . .
In the Gret Commission found in Mark 16:15-16, we are instructed to go “into all of the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” because only those who believe will be saved. Even in 2017 there are places where Christians place themselves and others in danger by preaching God’s word. . .
